Features include seven different treatment modes including: static, intermittent, progressive/regressive and cyclic traction. The light emitting diodes of the control panel display the force being supplied as well as pre-set high and low force limits. The user-friendly control panel also clearly displays details of the seven programme modes available.
The
marked ATP9 Traction Machine incorporates two important safety features:
Programme details
Once the treatment mode has been selected the high and low force values, as well as any hold/rest times can be set.
Programme 1
Static - Sustained traction is applied with a smooth, constant pull and released similary at the end of treatment.
Programme 2
Progressive/Regressive Static - Sustained traction is applied in graduated steps and is released similarly at the end of treatment.
Programme 3
Intermittent - Intermittent traction is applied at a smooth constant speed throughout treatment. A pause at the high and low force or zero levels can be pre-set with the hold and rest timers.
Programme 4
Progressive/Regressive Intermittent - The force is applied and released in graduated steps for the whole of the treatment. A pause between steps and at the high and low force levels can also be incorporated.
Programme 5
Progressive/Regressive with Stepped Intermittent - Intermittent traction as in programme 3 but with graduated steps at the start and end of treatment. A pause between steps can also be pre-set.
Programme 6
Cyclic Intermittent - Intermittent traction at a constant speed except at the start and end of treatment when the force is applied and released in graduated intermittent steps. A pause between steps and the high and low force levels can also be incorporated.
Programme 7
Cyclic with Static - Sustained traction is applied and released at the end of treatment with graduated, intermittent steps. A pause between steps can also be incorporated.
